World Sax Congress: past and future

So, the NSC have returned from their busy but fruitful week at the 2009 World Saxophone Congress, Bangkok, Thailand.

Performances from the NSC and their Sax Family were well received, and not for the first time the Choir found themselves the centre of attention! Many thanks go to all who came along to support us.

A very special mention must be given to the Choir's Principal Conductor, Richard Ingham, whose comprehensive and well-presented bid to the International Saxophone Committee secured St Andrews as the venue for the 2012 World Saxophone Congress.

This required a huge amount of work and effort, and we are very grateful that British saxophonists now have the chance to show the world what we can do, on our own turf!

Many, many congratulations to Richard!
