It is one of the aims of the National Saxophone Choir to encourage new writing for the saxophone ensemble genre. To help facilitate this, we set aside up to 30 minutes of each rehearsal for run-throughs of new music in our Composers' Forum.

We also encourage composers to conduct their pieces at the rehearsal should they wish, and will try to provide constructive feedback wherever possible.
