Welcome back to the NSC! As the Choir has grown, matured and spread its wings, the number of players who have been through its ranks has inevitably increased. Many members have left us very reluctantly and only because changes in circumstances simply did not allow them to maintain the commitment the Choir requires. Family members who leave the nest don't cease to be family and our fifth anniversary (Spring 2008) seemed an appropriate time to contact you all again and invite ex-players to renew links with the Choir.
You might simply be curious as to what's going on now in which case there's always the website and newsletter.
If you you're potentially interested in a bit more involvement (no commitment!) or keeping in touch with ex colleagues, why not register as an alumni? All you need do is complete the form below, including picture - your profile will appear on the public Alumni page and we will be in touch from time to time. Just a few notes:
Profile: 200 words maximum, to bring us up to date with your news, musical or otherwise. If you have your own website, by all means include a link; links to ensembles you play in are also welcome. There is also the option to:
D: Register as a dep. If the idea of joining us for a tour, workshop or mass blow appeals, tick the D box – no compulsion on us to ask or you to accept! D will appear on your public profile.
F: Become a Friend of the sax choir. This is a new scheme to raise small amounts of money from a wide range of individuals to help support special projects and the running of the Choir. If you tick this box, check out our Friends page, make a donation, and F will appear on your public profile when we've received it.
T: Register as a teacher. We sometimes get requests for teacher recommendations via the website, and we would like to contact you if you live locally. T will appear on your public profile.
Almuni networking: Tick 'alumni networking' on the form and your contact details will be made available to other alumni (not the public or current members) via the Alumni Networking box on the right hand side of the public page.
